A great dress for anyone looking for a wedding guest dress, a party dress, a unique dress, a 30th birthday dress, an above-the-knee dress or a long-sleeved wrap dress. This wrap dress can be casual or dressed up to impress.

Ideal for the body-conscious, this slim-fit wrap has a belt tie at the waist. Sitting just above the knee, with a top stitch cleavage and belt, this elegant printed wrap dress is a beautiful addition to any wardrobe.

Your long-sleeved wrap dress is a beautiful figure-hugging garment with an elegant drape. The kimono wrap dress is available in Solange Silk Jersey, a single jersey with a very fine rib detailing and great stretch, or Soft Fashion Jersey, an incredibly soft jersey that is smooth to the touch.

There is a small partition in the seam of the right-hand side seam to feed the belt through and create that well-known wraparound effect. This is finished on the inside with a top stitch. The belt ties at the front and is finished with the same gorgeous top-stitch as the cleavage of the deep v-neckline. With long, tapered sleeves, this long-sleeved wrap dress is a delightful, sophisticated garment.

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This item features artwork by Albert-Charles-Auguste Racinet (1825–1893). Racinet, himself an accomplished artist, is best known today for publishing two major pictorial works on the history of design — Le costume historique and L'Ornement polychrome — while engraver and artistic director at the Parisian publisher Firmin Didot et Cie.

Published in ten instalments between 1869 and 1873, the first iteration of L'Ornement polychrome (Colour ornament) is a visual record in 100 plates of the decorative arts from antiquity to the eighteenth century.

Although based on past masterpieces of design, the fantastic reproductions in L'Ornement polychrome, carried out by a number of skilled commercial artists of the day, can be considered works of art in their own right. It is one of these works of art that features on this gorgeous piece.

This piece features the illustrations and iconography that Racinet and his artists found in the classic Chinese patterns found in the textiles of the court officials, robes and artwork of the many Chinese dynasties. An absolutely beautiful piece that shows and declares its love of the classical Chinese Textile masters.

This forms part of our Museum Collection, a collection developed in conjunction with the world's leading galleries, museums and even N.A.S.A. to bring art, design and science into the realm of fashion. Art you can wear.

With artworks taken from the classic collections of the world's greatest galleries, we created something beautiful to bring some colour to your wardrobe and to provide you with a wonderful statement that will look fabulous for years to come.
